The West Haven Community needs our help!

Right now, there are families, here in the City of West Haven, who do not have sufficient food to feed their children daily, and on the weekends simply because schools are cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
The West Haven Rotary Club, a group of concerned volunteers, is seeking help from the Greater West Haven Community to raise funds to purchase much needed food for identified students and families in the six (6) elementary schools of West Haven. The following schools and families will receive support: Pagels, Mackrille, Savin Rock, Forest, Seth Haley, and Washington.
Food baskets will be purchased and delivered through safe/sanitary systems already in place which will allow our older volunteers to give maximum help without putting any lives at risk. This will ensure that our children can keep up with their class work and receive nutritious food without worry.
Additionally, our club has identified families who are without proper technology to access online learning. Our goal is to purchase chrome books, which are approx. $200.00 each, for those students in need to foster a better learning environment.
In addition, the West Haven Rotary Foundation will match all funds raised up to $10,000.
Rotarians live by the following motto — Is it the truth? It is fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
