The Werner Family

Tim Werner passed away on Saturday, May 28th after courageously battling cancer for the past two years. Tim was an incredible husband, father, and leader of the Sandy community. Along with being a teacher and principal for many years at Sandy High School, he also spent his latter years up at the district office helping to shape education for the Oregon Trail schools. Tim impacted many lives, both young & old and will forever be a pillar of the community he helped build for education to all Sandy Pioneers. Tim leaves behind his wife, Carrie, and his two young children, Ella and Andrew. The loss of this wonderful father and husband will be everlasting for the family.

As part of the continued support for the family, we are starting a GoFundMe pages to cover expenses and help support Carrie and the family during this difficult time. All proceeds will directly benefit the Werner family as they process the grief of losing Tim. Thank you for your support.

There will be a memorial service held on June 26th at Sandy High School at 4 o'clock for any and all who want to come pay their respects.
