Feeding Tomorrow is an initiative that has been built and exposed to the public over the last three years by a small team that has worked with school parents, leadership, members of the city sustainability department and the local community to envision and build a new Regenerative School farm for the Will Rogers Learning Community in Santa Monica, CA.
The Farm is a tangible demonstration to students, and the broader school community, that we can be active agents of change. Through a greater connection to food, plants and nature, together we can create a healthier, happier, just and regenerative world. We are committed to working with the founders to learn how we get to contribute to more schools and to build and create a working model for holistic education, where kids learn about healthy eating and sustainability on the school farm. The working model will be expanded into several pilot School farms, particularly in underserved communities, which will then in turn serve as models for a national rollout. It is a model that can be utilized at schools and hospitals throughout the country and the world. The new school farm is a vision for immersive, regenerative education - an education that celebrates our connection to the natural world, and each other.
To achieve our mission, we are launching a fundraising campaign called "The Way to Be." Through this campaign, we aim to raise funds to support the building of school farms and to educate children on sustainablility and healthy eating.
We are committed to reaching out to family, friends, local businesses and organizations to raise funds for the Feeding Tomorrow iniative. We will also organize fundraising events such as Art Exhibition, Music, Film Screening, Massage, Food & Dessert, Meditaion, Acupuncture, Yoga, etc. to raise awareness about our mission and to encourage people to support our cause.
All funds raised through our campaign will be used to bring awareness in our communities on sustainable farming and the building of farms in underserved communities and schools. Additionally, to teach children about healthy eating and sustainability on the school farm
Through our "The Way to Be" campaign, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of the next generation, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to create a legacy.
