Too much harm has been done to our children in this country — and it continues because too many adults remain silent.

Children are being exploited, trafficked, abused, and silenced at staggering levels while society grows distracted, comfortable, and unwilling to confront what is happening in plain sight. Evil lives in the dark, and silence is often the precursor that allows darkness to prey on the innocent. I am done accepting it.

My name is Jeffrey Pimentel. I am a retired law enforcement officer and retired military intelligence professional, a Catholic husband and father, and the Founder of Children Such as These.

On May 1, 2026, I will embark on a 1,952-mile mission trek from California to Indiana called The Watch Never Ends. Like a watchman sounding the alarm, I am walking across America to awaken communities, churches, and leaders to a hard truth: the Watch over our children has been neglected, and the cost has been devastating.

This is a personal fundraiser to support the logistics and safety of this mission trek. Funds raised will be used for essential needs such as food, hydration, lodging when necessary, safety gear, equipment replacement, and basic outreach along the route.
