More information about Vancouver Folk Music Festival: The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is a Canadian Cultural Institution; a unique community-based celebration with an internationally-renowned reputation for presenting the finest traditional and contemporary folk and roots music artists from around the world.

Now in its 43rd year, it’s very existence is threatened as one of the city's most beloved, enjoyed and respected events.

if governments and business can’t find it in their budgets to save this incredible city event let’s save it ourselves!

The society is aware of this effort and any funds raised go directly to the society.  In the event of a vote to dissolve the society on February 1st then the society would have to decide what to do with these funds.
