Lifting Women Up: A Relief Fund for Women in Crisis

There are women in our local community who are holding far more than they should ever have to bear. Women who wake up every day to impossible challenges—navigating work, motherhood, and the crushing weight of financial hardship while battling unimaginable health crises.

This hits so close to home for me because I’ve been there. Having been a single mother, I know what it feels like to face uncertainty—wondering how to stretch every dollar to meet life’s most basic needs while trying to hold it all together. And I know how much of a difference it can make when someone extends their hand—when you feel seen, held, and reminded that you’re not alone.

The two women who have been on my heart recently are not only carrying overwhelming financial burdens, but they are also struggling to access the care and support they deserve. And in this season—a time when we so often turn toward connection, generosity, and light—I want nothing more than to offer them a small lift. A breath. A moment where the weight they carry feels just a little lighter.
