The Tsantoulis Family

Hello, my name is Darlene, and I’m the Grandmother of baby River. He was born at Concord hospital on January 12th and only got to stay with my daughter and son in law for a matter of minutes before he was whisked away and transferred to a larger hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire where Crystal and Ryan are staying to be with him.

River has an extreme case of (MAS) Meconium Aspiration Syndrome and is currently on oxygen. He was briefly transferred to just oxygen and we were hoping that he would be coming home but he took a turn for the worse yesterday and his back on a cpap machine and feeding tube. My daughter and son in-law are with him but Ryan is going back and forth to work as much as possible and Crystal will be out of work for quite some time to take care of River. They also have a 3 1/2 year old that has been going back-and-forth between family members until this family can be together as a whole which has been difficult on him.

Due to mounting medical bills and family expenses, I asked that if you are able to donate anything to help, it would be greatly appreciated. These kids have worked so hard these last couple years to buy a home, and now the home expenses and medical bills are piling up. We have no end date as to when baby River will be home and what if any long-term medical conditions he will have or equipment that will be necessary for his care.

Any donations to help with the pending medical and home expenses would be greatly appreciated. They would never ask for help, but I am in order to put their mind at ease so they can focus on getting baby River home and being able to get back-and-forth from Dartmouth to spend time with their oldest son Colby.
