The TREK Triathlon in aid of TS Lynx

Hey! Our names are Alfie and Matthew, and we're doing a 70 KM triathlon across East Kent to raise funds for the Dover and Deal Royal Marine and Sea Cadets Unit. Our triathlon includes a water-borne sailing leg between Deal and Ramsgate, which is being greatly supported by Downs Sailing Club (which both of us are members of); then a cycling leg from Ramsgate to Canterbury, and finally a walk from Canterbury to Dover. It's no mean feat!

The Dover and Deal Royal Marine and Sea Cadets are a fantastic youth organisation, who deliver a waterborne-based syllabus to young people between the ages of 10 and 18. The unit also encourages people to develop key skills through lots of community work, events and initiatives. Both of us have been members of the organisation for a while now, and now wish to return the support which the unit has given both of us! The money raised would be used to further develop and extend the fantastic work that the unit is performing towards its members, and the surrounding community.
