The Tranter Project is taking on the Potters Arf Marathon for the very 1st time as an official Community Constitution group.

Dan who is the Founder/Director of the Tranter Project has been fundraising for 16 years and decided last year to set up his very own charity supporting the local families of the Abbey Hulton area via the safeguarding teams within the schools.

The Tranter Project is a Family run Community Constitution group which supports 4 schools in Abbey Hulton with essential items to support those families who are struggling to make ends meet.

The Tranter Project relies heavily on donations to support these families, we have currently supported around 1000 families across the 4 schools.

Dan's dream and vision with The Tranter Project is to support children from the ages of 7 to 18 whom are dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one, this however can only start to happen when some funding is in place to support the growth in to a specialist area.
