We have something very special planned, and we'd love the whole community to get behind us! ❤️

On Saturday 5th December 2026, our very own BILLY NORTH will be taking on an incredible challenge, cycling all the way to BLACKPOOL AND BACK, approximately 140 MILES! ‍♂️

And he's doing it all for a cause that could one day save someone's life.

❤️ OUR MISSION – TO RAISE £2,500 FOR A COMMUNITY DEFIBRILLATOR!

Here at the Tollemache Arms, we want to install a lifesaving defibrillator in our beer garden, accessible to everyone 24 hours a day for our customers, regulars, neighbours, local families and the wider community.

Why does this matter so much?

At present, the nearest defibrillators we're aware of are approximately a mile away, in Mossley centre and Greenfield.

When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, every second matters. Having a 24 hour access defibrillator nearby could mean the difference between life and death.

With so many homes and residents surrounding our pub, we believe our community deserves access to this vital piece of equipment.

‍♂️ 140 MILES. ONE AMAZING CHALLENGE. ONE VERY IMPORTANT CAUSE.

Billy is putting himself to the test, and now we're asking our wonderful community to get behind him!

OUR FUNDRAISING TARGET IS £2,500

We're also hoping to bring everyone together for a fundraising event at the Tollemache Arms to support this fantastic cause.
