The Three Tanzania’s - Expedition to Tanzania
Donation protected
Hello - we are Alex, Tristan, and James, three students from The Beacon School in Banstead. We have been given the incredible opportunity to make a difference to communities in Tanzania. The expedition will take place over four weeks in July 2024, and we are really looking forward to it.
This trip is a chance to experience first-hand the country's economic situation and help improve the lives of the communities there. During the expedition, we will work on projects that support the community, the environment and the local wildlife. We will be helping to build houses, classrooms, wells and clean water supplies for villages. We will also help to educate the local communities about endangered species. We will be cleaning up plastic, planting trees, digging water holes for elephants and turning elephant waste into paper - something which we are all especially looking forward to!
Happily, this trip isn’t all about work - we will also have the opportunity to explore the local environment by participating in some safaris and hikes. This expedition will provide us with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities - knowing that we will be helping the indigenous population to better their communities will be life-changing for all concerned.
Over the next 12 months, we will be participating in and hosting various fund-raising activities, including a quiz night, a sponsored walk, car boot and cake sales, to raise the necessary funds to get us there.
We also hope to be sponsored by companies by printing their logos onto our Camps International t-shirts and caps that we will be wearing at each fundraising event. These expeditions gain a lot of publicity and are featured on Camps’ International’s website (https://www.campsinternational.com). If you would like to promote your company, please leave your contact details in the comment section below. Camps International has achieved many incredible things. They have completed over 280 projects in 9 different countries, constructed 6 medical centres, removed 15 tonnes of marine rubbish, renovated and built 67 homes, and much more.
We hope you will be willing to help us with our fundraising for Tanzania - every single donation will be very gratefully received.
Thank you for helping us to achieve our goal
