Teleports Operational Fund

My name is Fabian Kaluza, and together with my team (Colton R. Smith, Jacob Phibbs, Diane Gharabi, Julia Zhukava, Diana Sanchez, Nick Huegin, Maxsym Ilin, Niko Huehnlein etc.) we're the Teleport Organisation. A team of people from all different walks of life with the common goal of supporting the humanitarian response to the Ukrainian crisis. Together we have managed to battle human traffickers by implementing registration points for drivers in several displacement centers, built one of the most advanced refugee assistance centers in Chelm, Poland, a warehouse management system for one of Poland's most significant humanitarian aid warehouses, and delivered urgently needed aid, therapeutic goods and water into conflict areas.

We work with several other organisations doing their best to support Ukraine in this crisis:

We have helped "Mission Ukraine" (facebook.com/missionukraine22) deliver therapeutic goods and water to Mikolaiev and villages close to Kherson & food and hygiene products to Kharkiv and the surrounding areas.

We support our partners at www.aidsupply.in.ua in applications for grants, finding organisations and warehouses willing to join their program of connecting all aid through a centralized system, optimizing aid distribution rapidly.

We helped WeAreFromUkraine (www.instagram.com/wearefromukraineorg) by allowing them to use one of Road to Ukraine's vehicles to distribute 3 tonnes of water in Mykolaiv.

www.Helpukraine.center was supported by implementing a WMS for them, managing the technical side of the institution, and keeping everything running and optimizing wherever needed.

And this is just a drop in the ocean. Some of our team members and I have been at it since the beginning, and we will continue to do so. But now we have reached the critical point where private savings are insufficient and have shrunk to alarming levels. With your financial contribution, we wouldn't just be able to continue operations, but also on an unprecedented level.

Teleport’s missions of supporting the humanitarian response require funding to be both feasible and successful. What will the raised funds be used for?

- Permanent housing: The Teleport team is currently fractured, and having a location where several of the Teleport members can stay and work together inside Ukraine would be a big step for us.

- Transportation: We have vehicles at our disposal and can use the ones of some of our partner organisations, but gas is expensive. Also, the roads here are notoriously bad, and frequent repairs are very present here.

- Supplies: There's always a need for supplies. We will dedicate a part of the raised funds to complete orders on unique items that we can order through our contacts, such as medicinal products or special foods.

- Equipment: Helmets, Boots, Personal protection devices etc. for the members of Teleport entering dangerous areas.

- Running costs: We developed a cloud-based solution for the warehouse management and donation tracking system that we implemented at the Help Ukraine Center in Lublin, Poland. These solutions are not cheap and are continuously funded privately. We want to relieve these costs from our private accounts to continue operations longer.

- Stipends: Paid to our volunteers on the ground, small amounts, but enough to keep volunteers engaged longer by cutting out the possibility of financial problems that arise with a prolonged unpaid position.
