On the morning of August 18, Gene Tagliaterra passed away unexpectedly and suddenly. Gene grew up in Media and graduated from Strath Haven High School where his Dad has worked and coached football for decades. Gene grew up playing Media Little League and gave generously of his time to Nether Swarthmore Baseball. Gene loved to cheer on his kids as they played football, soccer, basketball and baseball. He particularly loved watching his boys play for his father.

Gene leaves behind his loving wife Kim, his three children Christopher, Emma, and Paul, his parents and his many members of their extended family. If you knew Gene - really knew him - you'd know he had a great capacity for giving. He will be dearly missed in our community.
