Who we are:

We are the 2022-2023 4th Grade students from Saint Edward Elementary who wanted a basketball hoop for our recess! We are working with volunteers to help raise money to purchase a new hoop, pole and lay concrete to pour a half-court section for our hoop.

Why?

Great way to help build our use of the 7 Habits

Habit 6 Synergize by playing together and helping with getting the rebounds.

Habit 7 Sharpen the Saw by exercising and being in a good mood all at once.

To help our Sailor Nation Basketball teams.

What better way to practice than with your friends at recess?

The 4th Grade has approval from the church and the school for a go-ahead with this project. What is needed is to raise funds to support the costs of materials to construct the court/hoop. The 4th Graders started strong with a bake sale that raised over $500.
