Those who know us have seen our struggle through the last 6 years with fertility, and not being able to physically have a child of our own. So the Lord has placed on our hearts to do respite care, and possibly foster. If it is in His plan for us to adopt in the future, we will. We are scared & nervous, but ultimately excited to see where God leads us, and praying for this journey.

Because we are going through LHAA (Loving Houston Adoption Agency), a non-profit and privately funded agency, all the costs of care, food, clothing, medical, etc. are all on us. But that also means that the adoption fees are significantly lower than the state funded route, if we decide to adopt later. So we are seeking help for not only the care of our foster kiddo that will be coming our way, but also with the process costs of becoming licensed.

No gift is too small and we love that we have so many loving people in our circle. So many have been in prayer over this with us and for us, and those prayers are coming to fruition after all these years! We have a child in respite placement with us right now and it’s been quite the journey so far. Home inspections, fire inspections, paperwork, clothing, food, and such.
