My name is Ashley Jorgenson and I am Ryan and Becky’s sister in law, Ryan is Brads Brother.
I am writing on behalf of Becky & Ryan Stroshin ( Goertz)
Becky gave birth to a beautiful baby boy ( Jaxson) just 10 short days ago, shortly after she was admitted for surgery on her gull bladder at the sturgeon hospital.
While awaiting for surgery to remove her gull bladder, Becky had an extreme spike in blood pressure, causing a seizure and brain hemorrhage on her right side.
She was rushed to the U of A, where the neurosurgeon met them at the door and rushed into surgery to perform a craniotomy.
We are told it is a miracle she made it alive to the U of A, where she is currently fighting for her life on life support and in an induced coma.
There is no real prognosis this early, but as of right now she is paralyzed on her left side, and unsure of brain function, memory and every moment is critical.
As you can imagine, this is the most difficult time for Ryan, Makayla & Jaxson as they try to navigate all of these unknowns.
Any money donated will be given to Ryan to help alleviate any financial stresses, as he will be off work for an undetermined amount of time to care for baby Jaxson & be with Becky.
