Hi my name is Emily, i’m running a half marathon in March on Mother’s Day of all days! I’m raising money for The Strawberry line, a charity organisation based in Somerset. Creating a traffic free multi user path connecting shepton mallet with Clevedon, via Wells, Cheddar and Yatton.

I lost my dad in 2023 and he was an avid supporter of the charity and enjoyed walking many of the routes their volunteers help to restore and maintain. We have already used some money for a finger post in his memory at the Easton line. See pictures.

The money I help raise will go towards maintaining the line and or another finger post or bench in my dad’s memory. Or towards a new development they may have in mind.
