The Stifflers' Grand Adventure

Donation protected
Many of you have followed our journey with infertility via our blog, Eggspecting an Ovarreaction , but we know not everyone has. For those who haven’t, we have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years, knowing basically from the beginning that there might be issues. A little over a year ago, we realized that those issues were bigger than we thought. We have tried everything from hormone therapy for Stiffler, trigger shots for ovulation, more hormone therapy for both of us, 3 rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI – the turkey baster), and pretty much every supplement/diet/natural fix you can find on the internet. Early last spring, our attempts unfortunately ended in a miscarriage, but we tried to see the light at the end of the tunnel - as pregnancy was a possibility for us, but only with a little help from our friend, science.

Any donation you can give us will go a long way in helping us make our family a little bit bigger. And for those of you who want to help, but you can't donate (trust me, we totally understand), you can also help us just by sharing our post! We would love your help spreading the word regardless of your ability to donate.

Our friend, Luke Shomo, volunteered his time and expertise to design a shirt for us, for which we are forever grateful. We will have a site going live at the same time as this GoFundMe, where you will be able to buy our design on a few shirt choices or hoodie. The international symbol for the infertility is a pineapple, so we hope you enjoy the shirt as much as we do!

Maybe you don't like pineapples. Maybe you're so ripped that you don't wear t-shirts unless the sleeves are cut off professionally. Maybe you, like Caitlyn, just don't have any more space in your closet. No worries! We put this GoFundMe together at the request of a few friends and family members who wanted to have another way to donate without buying a shirt. We are lucky enough to have some insurance coverage, but even so, the process of IVF will still cost us upwards of $20,000, with our out of pocket expense coming to around $7,500. Thankfully we have some savings put away to help, but fertility treatments, along with the 3 rounds of IUI, have eaten up quite a bit already. Now, we are asking for help from our friends, family and community. We know there's a lot going on in the world right now and there are many places your money could go to make a difference, but thank you for thinking of us.
