Words cannot express the pain that we are feeling for everyone involved. Jess was loved by so many. She was something special to everyone. It is in these times that we all come together to give back to the woman who was always giving.
When tragedy impacts the ones we love so suddenly sometimes the best ways to show our love is by sharing their story and by giving in a time of need.
There is no easy way to share the story which is why I am sharing Cory's Facebook post
"Having to tell your 4 year old that mommy went to heaven to help God as an angel in the sky is the worst and hardest thing I've ever had to do. To everyone that sent prayers and best wishes I truly thank you from the bottom of my broken heart.
I feel weird putting this out on social media, but I know some of my friends don't know what happened. I want everyone to have clarity on the situation and also to know so hopefully everyone is mindful if you see myself and my daughter Kaiya out anywhere together, to please not ask where mom is or how is she doing? This is so hard on my little girl and it's only the beginning. We've got a long road ahead to find peace with our new reality of not having mom with us anymore.
Jess had severe bleeding in her brain that took her life in a very short amount of time. It was totally unexpected and there were no warning signs. I am totally broken and in total shock about the whole thing. I can't tell you how bad I just want to hold her and to be able to tell her and have her hear how much I love her. Please hold your loved ones close and always make sure to tell them how much you love them. I never thought the love of my life would leave me so suddenly. You never know what tomorrow has in store. Make today count for all its worth, which is everything. To everyone that came to the hospital to provide support to mine and Jess's family, I thank you so very much! Know how much Jess loved each and every one of you. #OneLife
