Helping Hurricane Helene Survivors Get Back on the Road
Hi, my name is Chewbacca — and I’m on a secret mission to help people in my community after Hurricane Helene. I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and a fast mind… kind of like a potato on wheels
When the hurricane hit Western North Carolina, everything changed. Our home was affected, our neighbors were hurting, and life got really hard for a lot of people. But instead of waiting around, we got to work — helping people however we could.
Now I want to do more.
I’m starting the Speedy Potato Fund to help families who lost their vehicles in the storm. Transportation is a huge need. Without a car, it’s hard to get to work, school, or even just buy groceries. I want to make sure people can move forward again.
What We’re Doing
Through this fundraiser, I’m raising money to:
Buy reliable used cars for families in need
Fix up donated vehicles to get them road-ready
❤️ Offer real transportation and hope to those hit hardest
Why “Speedy Potato”?
Because potatoes are tough, dependable, and full of energy (just like me). And also… let’s be honest, I probably look like a potato when I run. But a fast one. ♂️

The Goal
The mission: help 11 families get back on the road.
Whether we’re buying cars or fixing donated ones, every dollar helps someone rebuild.
Let’s drive hope forward — one potato at a time.
Thanks for being part of this mission.
