The Sparks Family Fundraiser

Hello, we are the Sparks family (Steve, Leeann, Aric, Katherine) and we are asking for your thoughts, prayers, and donations where possible. About a year ago, our daughter developed a life threatening illness. Since that time, we have seen countless doctors, therapists, and other medical professionals, many of which we have had to pay out of pocket and/or are not fully covered by insurance. This illness culminated in her being hospitalized for 2 weeks at Vanderbilt, and subsequently entering a treatment program that will run for a couple of additional months. We are hopeful that she will regain her full health and strength; however, we feel that we have reached a point to where we could no longer do this on our own; and as hard as the decision has been, decided to reach out to the community for help. To further compound our financial burden, just days before Katherine was hospitalized, Leeann was informed that her company is downsizing and that was being let go from her job as a Payroll Specialist with a staffing firm, effective immediately. We lost 50% of our income with no warning, which has left us in a dire financial position. Leeann has already found part-time work; however, we are asking for your help to help us bridge the gap before we get back on our feet. Any donations and/or shares of this campaign would be greatly appreciated. For her protection, we are not naming Katherine's illness here, but if you reach out I would gladly explain in private. I can assure you all that it is not substance abuse related, or anything of that nature. Thank you all.
