We are headed out on the road once again! Between the war in Ukraine, the lingering of a pandemic and the recent tragedies in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, it's hard to roll through life status quo. The need for love and kindness, generosity and benevolence, has never been greater. Not in our lifetimes. Over the last few years, I’ve felt the loss, the division, the fear and uncertainty, the illness, the injustices befalling our country and our communities. And I feel a call to action.
THE PLAN:
On Wednesday, June 2nd, my gal pal, Meg and I are going to load back into our RV and head to Uvalde Texas. Our plan is to offer dinner for four nights to anyone looking to gather or needing a sense of community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
If I may be so bold, I believe this a great story in the making. Maybe, just maybe we can make a difference. Why don’t you join us?

Think of ways to spread kindness. It could be holding the door open for a stranger or calling a friend you haven't spoken to in a while. Don't think too hard about it - and then DO IT!
2.
We are looking for donations. A little bit goes a long way. We're using the platform here in gofundme and are asking people to give what they can.
I can feed a family in need for around $10. One night at an RV Park? $35 Tank of gas? $125, if we’re lucky. Hospital crews coming off a long shift? We can stretch a dollar like nobodys business.
We will keep a list of every donation received, and let you know exactly where your money goes!

Lastly, please spread the word. If you know of friends or family members who may find this interesting, please share. If you have or know a business who may want to sponsor supplies or a meal, please let me know.
This is the start of a greater conversation, I don’t know how this will all play out. But inaction is not helpful here. If I want my world to be filled with KINDNESS, I need to do something about it.
I feel the urge, and I invite you join along.
