The Someone Cares Closet at Yale Child Study Center

As business owners in New Haven, we have an obligation to help our community, in the spirit of thanksgiving we want to support and help the children and families of our community through the Someone Cares Closet (SCC) at the Yale Child Study Center. From March 2022 to October 2024 Someone Cares Closet has helped 166 families and distributed 2533 personal care items.
It is important to connect the reality of our community. It’s not just about identifying the problem but working collaboratively towards finding a solution.
From November 13th to December 3rd we at Viñas Restaurant will be taking physical donations of personal care products or monetary donations through this go fund me page in the hopes of increasing donations for SCC and making these products accessible to more children and families.
