Hi, I'm Sophie and I’m raising money to benefit St Clare Hospice Trading Co, and any donation will help make an impact.

I'm doing this because I lost my grandad John last year, due to being diagnosed with terminal cancer, who went through a bad battle for two years with chemotherapy.

Towards the end of his life there were things he couldn't do for himself and without the support of the hospice, questions that needed to be asked were answered very gently by the hospice. This helped him feel less of a burden on us and he formed bonds with hospice staff. He wanted to donate to the hospice before he passed, but unfortunately his health went down hill a lot quicker than anyone anticipated.

I think hat if he were to see that I'm jumping out of a plane, I think he would find that pretty awesome and cheer me on all of the way.

When doing this skydive, I will be thinking about the amazing people who have helped me get to this point, as well as my amazing family, who have supported me and been on this journey with me.
