Hi everyone!

I'm Jasmine, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to go on a service trip to Tanzania this coming April! I’ll be spending a couple of weeks volunteering at The School of St Jude, immersing myself in the education and lives of its students.

The School of St Jude provides free, high-quality education to bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 2002 by Australian Gemma Sisia with just three students, St Jude now offers full scholarships to 1,800 students across three campuses. All secondary students receive boarding accommodation, and thanks to generous donors worldwide, the school covers not only full education but also uniforms, learning resources, food, water, transport, boarding, and health and welfare support for every student. Their mission is to equip students with the education they deserve so they can uplift their families and communities, fostering growth and breaking the cycle of poverty.
