In Loving Memory of Stefan Persaud — 20 Years On
Donation protected
Saturday, 10th May 2025 marked 20 years since we lost our cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Stefan was only 16 when his life was tragically and senselessly cut short, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved him.
To mark this anniversary, we gathered with close family and friends for a special tribute celebrating Stefan’s life, sharing memories, and reflecting on the love and legacy he continues to leave behind.
Stefan never had the chance to realise his full potential or live the life he deserved. It is deeply important to us that no other family has to endure such a loss, and that we work together to help create a safer, more hopeful future for young people. As part of our gathering, we raised funds to support a cause that is deeply meaningful to us creating safer communities and empowering young people to build positive futures.
We would now love to extend that effort beyond our close circle, and anyone moved by Stefan’s story to join us. Whether you choose to donate or simply share this page, your support will help expand the reach and impact of this important work.
All funds raised will go directly to The Safety Box a UK organisation doing vital work with young people in schools and communities across the country. The Safety Box focuses on reducing youth violence, empowering personal development, and promoting safer communities. Through early intervention, mentoring, and conflict resolution programmes, they help vulnerable young people build confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Their approacj closely aligns with the work we were passionately involved in for a decade following Stefan’s death and we believe they are the perfect charity to partner with in honouring his memory.
Thank you for remembering Stefan with us and for helping turn remembrance into positive change. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more to us than words can express.
With love and gratitude
