Hello, my name is Taylor Russell, and I am the only living daughter of Sean Russell.
Sean was so much more than just a name. He was a son, a brother, a cousin, a nephew, a father, a husband—and above all, a warrior who carried unimaginable burdens.
From a young age, Sean endured nearly every form of abuse—mental, physical, emotional, financial, and sexual. These traumas shaped the way he saw the world. He longed for healing but never found the safe space or support he needed to begin that journey. Instead, he carried the weight alone, believing he had failed to protect his sisters, his children, and his wife.
On May 14th, 2025, Sean lost his battle with the pain he had carried for so long and took his own life. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who loved him.
But out of this tragedy, we want to create hope.
The Russell Effect was born to honor Sean’s life and to rewrite the story for men everywhere. Our mission is to provide men with the tools, resources, and support they need to heal—from trauma, PTSD, addiction, mental health struggles, and all the silent battles they fight. We want men to know that it is okay to speak, it is okay to feel, and most importantly, it is okay to seek help and heal.
This fundraiser will help us build the foundation of The Russell Effect. The funds will be used to cover essential start-up costs such as:
Legal registrations, business licenses, and insurance
Copyright and protection for our name and mission
Administrative needs to establish The Russell Effect as a recognized organization
Once established, we will also create a merchandise line, where proceeds will continue to fund counseling, rehabilitation, healing tools, and outlets for men in need. Every dollar raised will help ensure that no man has to walk the path of pain and silence that Sean endured. And that there are other men out there who can relate to them. To connect all men from all different paths of life for one goal. Healing.
Our dream is to build a legacy of healing, hope, and change—for Sean, and for every man who feels he has to suffer alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us turn loss into light. Together, we can create The Russell Effect.
—Taylor Russell
