Help the Pierson and Ruf family as they stand by Meme

Hello, my name is Kathy and I have the pleasure of being both Bob and Debby's granddaughter, and Melanie's niece. I currently live out of state and am unable to be physically present to help provide for their current needs, and that's why I started a GoFundMe page to try and help provide financially for their immediate needs.

Bob and Debby's daughter Melanie (or Meme to her nieces and nephews) underwent open heart surgery on June 12, 2025. She went through surgery and the majority of recovery with flying colors. Unfortunately, in the early morning of June 20, 2025 our family received news that nobody wants to hear.

Melanie experienced cardiac arrest along with numerous other difficulties that will require a longer stay than expected. As her prognosis remains uncertain, family will diligently remain in Denver beside Meme as her body slowly makes its way to recovery.

All funds received will be used to cover hotel costs, food, gas, and other unexpected expenses.
