The Rough Riders sled hockey team is truly the most impressive group of national champions. This team is comprised of athletes who redefine the words courageous, determination and joyful while being afflicted with such disabilities as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, down syndrome, dystonia, autism, mental retardation, spina bifida, and some have paralysis, spinal cord injuries, some are amputees and others are Wounded Warriors, having become disabled serving their country honorably.
With your positive attitude toward those with physical and/or mental handicapping conditions, we hope that you will help us skate towards a meaningful development of a mutual sense of self-esteem, pride, and friendship.
