Hi, my name is Shirley. I part of a small committee who is dedicated to the revival of the Eastbourne Lammas Festival. Plans are underway to hold the festival entirely within Hampden Park in Eastbourne on 1st and 2nd August 2026. There will be Morris dancing, bands, trade stands and more. Eastbourne council are very much in favour of the return of this much loved festival, which hasn’t been held since 2018. However, there is no financial assistance available. In order to hold the festival, we need insurance, security and equipment amongst other things. As part of our fund raising, this go fund me page has been set up. All profit from the festival will be in aid of WRAS. Please donate so that we can hold this much missed community event. Thank you.
