Hi to all, welcome to our Go Fund Me Page!
We are a small group of Hanslope residents & Hanslope Parish Council working together to raise funds to regenerate our village pavilion so we can build a stronger, healthier and more connected village for everyone.
The Hanslope Pavilion Regeneration Project is an ambitious and community-driven initiative to rebuild, modernise, and revitalise the heart of village life. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to create a vibrant, inclusive space that enriches the lives of everyone who lives in and visits Hanslope.
We are seeking to raise £150,000 to support the full regeneration of the Pavilion — including the refurbishment of the changing rooms, the expansion of the sports hall, and the creation of new social, cultural, and wellbeing spaces for all ages.
This project is not just about bricks and mortar — it’s about bringing people together, enhancing wellbeing, and building a stronger sense of community.
Why the Pavilion Matters
For generations, the Hanslope Pavilion has been a place where people gather — to play, celebrate, socialise, and connect. However, the current facilities no longer meet the needs of our growing and diverse community. By regenerating the Pavilion, we can create a modern, sustainable, and welcoming space that supports the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of everyone in Hanslope.
Our Vision
The regenerated Pavilion will become the beating heart of Hanslope — a place that offers opportunity, connection, and inspiration for all.
1. Supporting Health and Wellbeing
An expanded and fully refurbished sports hall will allow more people to enjoy a wide range of sports and physical activities. Improved changing facilities will enhance the experience for local sports teams and visiting clubs alike, encouraging participation and pride in village sport.
2. Combating Loneliness and Isolation
A new warm and welcoming café space will provide a social hub for residents of all ages, particularly our older generation. It will offer a friendly place to meet, talk, and feel part of the community — helping to reduce loneliness, isolation, and depression.
3. Celebrating Art and Culture
We envision the Pavilion as a living art exhibition, featuring inspiring, community-driven artworks throughout the building. A dedicated arts room and flexible meeting spaces will nurture creativity, learning, and collaboration among residents of all ages.
4. Creating Spaces to Connect
The addition of an upstairs bar and balcony will provide an inviting space for socialising after matches and events. This facility will also create opportunities for local clubs to generate sustainable income, helping them to thrive and grow.
The Benefits
Healthier residents: Improved facilities will encourage participation in sports and fitness, boosting both physical and mental wellbeing.
Stronger community bonds: The Pavilion will provide a place where everyone — regardless of age, background, or circumstance — feels welcome and connected.
Increased village pride: A regenerated Pavilion will showcase Hanslope as a forward-thinking, caring, and vibrant community.
Economic sustainability: Income from café operations, room hire, and events will help sustain the Pavilion and local clubs for years to come.
Cultural enrichment: Art, creativity, and community activities will make the Pavilion a place of inspiration and aspiration.
A Pavilion for Everyone
At its heart, the Hanslope Pavilion Regeneration Project is about enhancing quality of life and building unity. It’s about ensuring that every resident — young or old, new or long-established — has a place to belong.
By working together, we can create a Pavilion that reflects the true spirit of Hanslope: connected, harmonious, and full of life.
Join Us
We invite investors, supporters, and the wider community to be part of this exciting transformation. Your support will help us raise the £150,000 needed to bring this vision to life — ensuring the Pavilion continues to serve as the cornerstone of our village for generations to come.
Together, we can make Hanslope Pavilion not just a building — but a symbol of everything our village stands for.
