Hi! We are the Merola family--you may recognize our house from the insane number of lights we put up every year! This year, once again, we are hoping the amazing attention our home attracts can be put to good use. The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre in Oshawa is an awesome organization that helps young people who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless, or who are just struggling. On the practical side, The Refuge gives young people access to laundry and shower facilities, supplies of clothing and hygiene products, provides support navigating government services, and with the new building, they can even give someone a living space. But the big offer is hope for a better, safer future, and what better gift is there?
