Hi, I’m Sharon, and I’ll be raising money for the Ladybird Hub CIC

On the 7th September 2026, I’m swapping holidays for something completely different.

I’m taking on the 75,000 Mile World Challenge.

For 75 days, I’m going to walk, run, cycle and row my way through 75,000 virtual miles, taking a little Ladybird around 75 destinations and 7 continents.

1 walking/running mile = 150 virtual miles
1 cycling mile = 50 virtual miles
1 rowing mile = 150 virtual miles

There’ll be some big challenges along the way, including some Mile for Mile challenges, and probably quite a few days where I wonder why on earth I decided this was a good idea!

But there’s a reason I’m doing it.

It’s for foster children.

I want to raise £20,000 for Ladybird Hub CIC.

Ladybird Hub supports foster children and their carers, and this is something I really want to help with.

Because when you think about being a child, some of the things that stick with you aren’t necessarily the big things.

It’s the days out.

The adventures.

The little treats.

The experiences you get to share.

The memories you make.

And for children in foster care, those opportunities aren’t always a given.

Every child deserves the chance to have happy memories.

A chance to have fun.

A chance to try something new.

A chance to have a day where they don’t have to think about anything other than being a kid.

That’s what I want these miles to help provide. ❤️

The money raised will help Ladybird Hub provide breaks and special experiences for foster children, as well as supporting the amazing carers who look after them. It will also help towards their goal of getting a second caravan, giving even more children the opportunity to get away and make those memories.

And I really don’t want to do this on my own.

I’ll be organising Community Ladybird Walks at weekends, so you can actually come and do some of the journey with me.

You can donate.

You can share my posts.

You can follow the Ladybird around the world.

You can cheer me on when I’m struggling!

And if you’re a business, there’ll be opportunities to get involved too.

Every mile I do is for a reason.

Every donation, however big or small, gets us closer to that £20,000.

So…

75,000 MILES
75 DESTINATIONS
75 DAYS
7 CONTINENTS
❤️ £20,000 FOR LADYBIRD HUB

I’m not entirely sure what I’ve let myself in for!

But I know exactly who I’m doing it for.

The children. ❤️

So come with me.

Let’s take this little Ladybird around the world and, hopefully, help create some very special memories along the way. ❤️
