EVERYONE DESERVES A PLACE TO PLAY.
Hi! We're Bella and Katelin, seniors at ThunderRidge High School. We are completing our senior project by introducing inclusive playground equipment in our local parks for children with disabilities or other challenges that might limit their activities.
Bella's sister Macy (15) has Dravet Syndrome. This condition presents Macy with many challenges, and playing at a park shouldn't be one of them. As sisters, we are both heavily involved with SSN and the Unified Program and are looking to extend our passion for inclusion outside the classroom. We want to add swings and freestanding structures to one or two local parks that will encourage play for sensory seekers and physically limited kids!
We need your help in providing our community with the correct resources and equipment to allow everyone to play!
We appreciate your support.
Love, Katelin and Bella
