Established in 1949, QG SIGNALS has proudly served the nation for over 76 years. Members of our paltan have contributed to critical operations during World War II, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Falkland Islands, and many other global deployments.
The goal of this project is to honour and preserve the rich history and legacy of QG SIGNALS by creating "The Heritage Room" at Gamecock Barracks, Bramcote. This dedicated space will chronicle the evolution of QG SIGNALS for association members, current serving personnel, their families, and future generations of the paltan. The heritage of QG SIGNALS should be our lasting legacy, and it is essential that we preserve this for those who will come after us. Our legacy is a vital aspect of what it means to belong to the QG SIGNALS Pariwar. Maintaining a record of our historical journey not only sheds light on significant issues but also provides valuable insights into the historical influences that shape us, particularly for those still in service.
The total cost of this project is estimated to be between £10,000 and £15,000, with support from Punchard Interior Design. This is a non-profit initiative led by volunteers under the supervision of RHQ QG SIGNALS. We kindly invite individuals, communities, and businesses to contribute to this meaningful endeavour to preserve and celebrate our Regimental history and culture.
My team and I will be offering haircuts throughout the duration of Ex-AVT 25as part of our fundraising efforts. Your support will be deeply appreciated by all QG SIGNALS families. All proceeds will go directly towards The Heritage Room project. Please visit our GoFundMe page to contribute, or help by sharing the page to spread the word. Thank you for your support!
