My name is Melissa, Hannah’s oldest sister and Ronan’s aunt. This year has started out a little rough and they could use your prayers and support. Hannah is diligent, creative, sharp and caring. She currently is the only income for her family of 6 (Ryan, Demian, Ronan, Aletheia and Ezran).

Ronan is 5 years old, bright, shy, sweet, and typically full of energy and excitement.

Over the course of the past 2 weeks, Ronan developed a rare presentation of Group A Streptococcus in his blood stream. It hitched a ride down to his right foot and settled into his big toe joint. It took a week of going to urgent care several times and then the ER which ultimately ended in us being rushed by ambulance to Blank Pediatrics, DSM, to finally get Ronan's infection diagnosed. It's so rare that the doctors were stumped until blood cultures came back.

Ronan required surgery to irrigate his septic joint and clean out the abscess that had caused his foot to swell to twice the size of the other. The road from here looks like PT and 3-4 weeks of IV antibiotics. How long they will be in the hospital is unclear.

Any help given will go towards balancing out lost wages during this time as Hannah cares for Ronan in DSM. Anything is appreciated. Nothing is expected. Thank you in advance!
