Founded by Mersony Y. Grant, a Public Safety Telecommunicator and community advocate serving in both the United States and Liberia, The Privacy Project was created to help strengthen safety and dignity in vulnerable communities.
In many areas across Liberia, young girls face challenges simply accessing safe, private sanitation facilities. The lack of secure spaces can make everyday routines more difficult and, at times, unsafe.
The Privacy Project exists to help change that.
We believe privacy is not a luxury.
It is protection.
It is dignity.
It is peace of mind.
By building secure, lockable, well-lit sanitation facilities, we are helping create environments where girls can grow, learn, and move through their daily lives with greater confidence and security.
This is more than infrastructure.
It is care built into the foundation of everyday life.
