The Pretty Bag Project — Help Bring Beauty & Dignity to Women in Need

Hello friends,

For years, I’ve subscribed to Ipsy and collected dozens of beautiful little makeup bags — too many for one person to ever use. As I looked at these bags, I started thinking: what if something small and pretty could become a gift of dignity for women who rarely get to feel cared for?

That’s how The Pretty Bag Project was born.

The Mission:

While this project is primarily focused on serving women experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, I recognize that not all people who menstruate identify as women. These kits are available to anyone in need of menstrual care, regardless of gender identity.

Each bag will include:

✨ Reusable or disposable feminine hygiene supplies

✨ Comfort items like lip balm, socks, hair ties, and sanitizer

✨ A sweet treat

✨ A personal note of kindness

✨ Packaged inside a pretty, gently used makeup bag

These aren’t just supply kits — they’re small acts of dignity, beauty, and care for women who deserve to feel seen and valued. I believe every woman deserves something beautiful of their own!
