Hi, im Elliott, myself and Matteo are fundraising for the Portelli family. Over the past year, the Portelli family has fought a battle no family should have to endure. Anna was diagnosed with cancer, and bart had many complications of surgery both facing simultaneous treatments that pushed their strength and finances to the limit.

Bart had been unable to work since August 2025, spending grueling months in intensive care. Recently, the family was given the joyful news that he was in recovery—a glimmer of hope they desperately needed. Tragically, that hope was cut short when Bart passed away suddenly this past weekend (28th Feb).

His passing has left Anna, Luke and Ryan in a state of profound shock and grief.

The Road Ahead

While grieving the loss of her husband, Anna is still fighting her own courageous battle. She has been undergoing weekly chemotherapy for months and is scheduled for major cancer surgery on 17 March. As the sole breadwinner for the family since late last year, Anna has continued to work despite the toll of her treatment. Now, faced with funeral costs, ongoing medical pressures , and the daily cost of living, the financial burden has become a mountain she cannot climb alone—especially as she prepares for her own surgery and recovery.
