My best friend Alison and her husband Brandon have been praying for a family and after struggling to get pregnant they sought out the advice of doctors. They were told that they had a very poor chance at conceiving naturally and IVF would be their best option. Knowing that this was going to be an expensive route, they excitedly embarked on the journey! Dipping into savings, 401k's and living frugally, they were able to come up with enough to pay for it.
Although the first round didn't take, they were excited to announce that the second round did. They were initially told that they were having twins and later found out that it would actually be triplets!! After 22 weeks, though, they lost their babies - Barrett, Declan and Dalton. This was devastating for them and together they're healing from this tremendous loss, but still feel as though there is a void in their lives.
They are now trying again for a baby, but are having to pay for yet another round of IVF, which will cost upward of $10,000.00. They are both such loving, caring, hard-working, wonderful people and deserve a baby more than anyone! I'm hoping that for Christmas this year, we can help them achieve their goal of starting a family in 2019. I ask that you donate what you can to this beautiful couple. It takes a village to raise a family and right now, more than ever, they need their village.
