The Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre
On 7th September 2024, my great friend Sharon and I are walking in the South Coast Challenge between Eastbourne and Hove - a 57km trek which includes the beautiful but hilly, Seven Sisters. We are hoping to walk this in around 12 hours. Sharon and I enjoy a little walk but we may have to take more than our usual Twix and a Kitkat to complete this challenge!
We are doing this in memory of my son-in-law Andrew who passed away last year from a brain tumour. Following his diagnosis 14 months earlier, he and Rachel had incredible support from The Pickering Cancer Centre, a charity in Tunbridge Wells. Those close to them will always appreciate the help and support they gave to them both and our young granddaughters.
Any donations would be much appreciated to enable them to continue their great work.
