Hi, my name is Stacey and I'm helping set up this Go Fund Me for my son's archery team, Phoenix HEAT, so that they can travel to South Carolina for the Open Championship through National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). In May, this determined team qualified at the Western National Tournament in Sandy, Utah to shoot bullseye at the Open Championship, but we don't have the resources for the next step.
This is an amazing group of young athletes that are raising money to compete at this highest level of achievement. Many of these fine archers have never competed at this level before. They have sacrificed their time, learned mental focus by practicing daily, and worked hard toward consistent mental discipline with every arrow they release. These aspiring athletes are looking for sponsors and donors to help them reach their dream. The team is also a 501(c)3 and you are welcome to donate through our team website.
Our goal is also to have fun. Every participant that donates to the Go-Fund-Me page will be placed in a drawing for a free Genesis bow, just like the ones the kids use, and a thirty-minute lesson from one of these fine athletes! If a winner is in the Phoenix area, we will have a lesson at Ben Avery Archery Range on Carefree Highway. If the winner is not local, we can provide an option for a Zoom call or a YouTube video, created specifically for the winner, on how to use a bow.
Every student has their own reason for going, and if you want to hear them please visit our Instagram page.
