The Phillips Family & Baby Greyson

Family, friends, and other caring folks,

Thank you for your interest in helping support the Phillips family and Baby Greyson.

As you may or may not know, Baby Greyson was born early (28 weeks) via emergency c-section after 6 days of preterm labor, to parents Cheri & Chris Philips. What you also may or may not know is this all happened while Cheri and Chris were abroad in Brazil!

As we assess the current situation and look towards the future, Cheri, Chris, and Greyson have quite a road ahead of them, much of which will affect the family financially. Even though Cheri and Chris are in Brazil, their bills at home stateside will continue to accrue (including a brand new mortgage). They are now also facing the reality that they will need to pay for housing in Brazil for the next few months while Greyson stays in the NICU. Additionally, they will need to cover extensive medical costs for the 6-day preterm labor stay, the c-section delivery, and the months-long NICU support. Lastly, their travel costs to return to Minnesota have now increased.

Cheri and Chris' families have created this GoFundMe on their behalf as Cheri and Chris have not asked for assistance, but we do believe that as the wonderful people they are, they have a wide-reaching support system of people who are hoping to help in any way they can (some of you have already asked and for that we are so grateful!).
