The Payne's

Rock Families,

We have recently been made aware that one of our dear families in our community is going through financial struggles. The Payne’s, both teachers are trying to raise their nine children and provide for their family. With the cost of living in Central Texas skyrocketing it's forcing them to try and make extremely hard decisions. It’s so crazy that this family, who teaches our own children has difficulties with basic needs. The decision to allow others to help wasn’t easy, and I’m asking you to help me come alongside them at this time.

We’re trying to raise $30,000 to help be a buffer for the Paynes. Currently, Texas legislators are finalizing a bill that would increase teachers salaries by $15k, which we all pray passes in the fall.

God is faithful.

I am blessed to have my beautiful wife, my best friend, by my side as we raise our brood of God fearing children, 9 of them to be exact.

Just over 7 years ago as I sat in my bed recovering from back surgery, God made it clear our next destination, as a family was to be Central Texas. Not sure what that would look like, we packed our two vehicles with whatever belongings we could squish around our kids and set off for Temple Texas, knowing God would be faithful.

The last 7 years have been a blessing. God has used this time to transform my wife and my heart as we've watched our kids blossom. We've had the opportunity to meet countless wonderful people, many of whom we would consider lifelong friends. We have also had the opportunity to start Growing Paynes, www.growingPaynes.org, a ministry that focuses on the family.

Not only have we grown substantially during this time, but so has the greater Austin area. So much so it has put our family in a bind. As parents of 9 kids on 2 teacher salaries, due to inflation and cost of living, continuing to live in this area doesn't seem like much of a reality moving forward as we are struggling financially.

This said, we know God is faithful.
