Hello, my name is Mary Puryear. My husband and I have a home in the lovely community of Rancho Casa Blanca (Indio, California). Over the last 5 years, we have created a working as well as a personal relationship with Memo Padron and his wife, Maria as well as their daughter Dulce, son Memo Jr., wife Edith, and Memo & Maria's grandson.
Maria was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. It is with great sorrow that we have been told Maria passed on today.
Considering the many years Memo worked in RCB and the continuing work he has been doing for people in the park and elsewhere - I hope we can all find it in our hearts to help he and his family in their time of grieving.
