Medical Mission to Johannesburg, South Africa

Creating this GoFundMe is like pulling teeth. I never asked for anything and even typing this is a struggle but "It takes a Village". As many know, I am a newly Registered Nurse and have received the opportunity to participate in a medical mission with Nurses With Purpose, Inc. I would have the privilege to use my skills as a RN to provide care, resources, knowledge and basic care to the beautiful people in South Africa. Nurses with Purpose is an organization created by Nurses for Nurses to give in underserving areas of Africa, The Congo, Dominican Republic, to name a few. I will be traveling with a group of Nurses and Nurse Practitioners to serve pediatric and adult populations with a mobile medical unit, school settings, orphanages, triage, surgical procedures, etc. for 10 days. Nurses with Purpose has a reputation for "Transcending Lives and Making Impact, serving as a vessel for the improvement of existing processes for our partners have established."

This is where I will need your help! I am fully committed to contribute to my journey to South Africa but will need help getting there and fulfilling this lifelong dream. I am reaching out to family, friends, coworkers to help with flight cost, lodging, food,. This mission will take place in September 2022! I will need to raise $3500.
