Hi,
As Bereaved Parents over the last 4.5 years we have campaigned, fundraised and spread awareness about the dangerous world that our son Olly was living in.
Olly was tragically taken from us aged just 13 on Sunday, January 3rd 2021.
Olly had been set up and was lured out of our home, he was stabbed to death by children aged 13 and 14, over an online arguement.
Our Olly's Work covers three areas that surrounded Olly, online harm, anti knife crime and special educational needs. Olly had recently been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum and he had also been criminally exploited by a gang.
With so much love and support we have appeared in documentaries, podcasts, training sessions, spoken at events to raise awareness and we have also worked with other Bereaved Families for Online Safety campaigning to Government around the Online Safety Act. We have fundraised for The No 5 Young People, Parenting Special Children and the Ben Kinsella Trust alongside other grassrootz organisations.
It has always been our longterm goal to have The Ben Kinsella Trust Exhibition in the Thames Valley, sharing Ollys story, allowing local children to visit and learn about choices and consequences.
We are now at the point that we need to become registered as a charity, please support us if you can to make our dream into reality. If Olly had had this education I don't think that we would be where sadly we are today. We want to help other young people and their families to stay safe and have a happy childhood.
Many thanks
