Hey All…

This is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do…we have never asked for help outside of the schlepping of boxes and whatnots with this move of ours.

But, as you know we’re moving to Phoenix, AZ and leaving Oregon on Friday the 15th - to make our way down to start our next chapter of life. This move has been fraught with challenges left and right - between Allison’s health care and our ever growing challenges with her insurance and ongoing battle with getting her medication/treatments on time; and our mess with our first property management company having us sign all of our paperwork to then tell us that they can no longer manage our property due to it’s location being outside of their range…with that means that we’ve missed out on income from our home we’re renting out.

In addition this move also comes with Allison having to leave her job at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as she wasn’t able to work remotely, nor was she able to start anew with the Phoenix chapter. So that means she’s on the hunt for a new professional adventure…with that comes the possibility of a loss of income for a short while.

Although we got married in September of 2021 - we never had a large wedding, we never registered for wedding gifts, or a “honeyfund” to support our new life, and or honeymoon - we are now asking for a little bit of help financially as we try to get our feet planted back on the ground.

This is so hard for both of us to ask for your help - but as we embark on this new adventure we’re hoping that you might be able to pitch in, just as you would if we would have had a “traditional wedding” and consider this your “wedding gift to us.”
