The Next Chapter: Danny's Adoption Journey

Hello Everyone. My name is Daniel Alexander. Some things I have learned throughout my 40 years of life have been to enjoy the now, be present, appreciate everyone along the journey that is life, be kind, love, experience the world when & if possible, learn from mistakes and keep moving forward. My father once told me "life isn't a sprint, it is a marathon". Things will happen when they happen and everyone's path is different. My career path has directed me a few years to work within the healthcare system in SouthFlorida in departments/units such as Cardiac, Oncology, Intensive Care (Trauma ICU), and Emergency/Urgent care settings. I have learned that tomorrow, whether young, old, healthy, pre-existing conditions, etc is never promised to anyone. I used to be the type of individual who would say "oh I will wait to do this or obtain this when I have someone special, or when I have achieved this first, etc". But after experiencing/interacting with those who wanted more time in life or lost their time; most important value, living, I attempt to make the most of life. I travel when I can, I make time for the people I love around me feel loved and be seen, I give back as I am a firm believer of paying things forward and ideally i thrive to accomplish a bucket list of life. I have been very fortunate to scratch off some things off my list and an on going one has always been to make an impact on peoples lives; whether it be saving a life, being a mentor or teacher, helping those in need, or any form of compassion/assistance. My next chapter is one that has been dear to my heart & soul for years now;- as I begin my child adoption journey, I want to guarantee my future child from adopting them from foster care, has a smooth and peaceful loving transition and incorporation to my family. I want to be able to provide from the basic necessities we may all take for granted to the luxuries and privilege we all have to a Disney trip, great education system, shelter and most of all love. EVERY child deserves to be loved and have access to feel special and worthy. I hope to provide the most essential compassion, love, understanding, acceptance, and patience. I additionally have the greatest support and love from my wonderful family. I wish to blend the compassion of my nieces, nephew to add a cousin within the family tree, my siblings who are great parents themselves to continue to be great uncles,aunts, mentors to them. My selfless parents; who would additionally love unconditionally as a grandparent. I am getting caught off words filled with emotion right now to express & explain the importance & aspiration I have to be a parent and with your donation (even though I can provide a home, healthcare, education, love, food, etc) would assist me in this single parent transition and I would be able to develop and provide more time with my future upcoming child. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Again I think i went on a ramble and probably didnt explain my "story" as gofundme asked, as much as I tried to portray my intentions or needs.
