On October 12th, our best friends son, Ryan was diagnosed with SVT/WPW, since then they’ve had more ER, cardiology visits & PICU stays than any child should have to experience.

While his condition isn’t life threatening, it has caused for very traumatic events to happen where his heart rate can reach over 300bpm. This results in a very sick and very uncomfortable little boy resulting in constant ER trips.

Not only is it traumatic for the family but financially stressful. When Ryan turns 5 years old he’ll be eligible for an ablation, but until then it’s hopes that the right dosage of medication keeps the family at bay.
